Client Introduction: The client, Channel 12 M, operates within the television broadcast industry, specializing in creating short musical or audio segments—music idents—used by TV channels and networks to enhance brand identity.

Design Problem: Channel 12 M sought a more engaging and dynamic music ident to better capture the audience’s attention. It was important to revitalize the channel’s identity through a fresh, visually compelling solution that resonated with the music genre, as this would help strengthen their brand presence.

My Role: I was responsible for creating a new music ident for Channel 12 M. The project came with specific constraints, including a tight three-week deadline and the requirement to build the animation around a particular style of music. The ident needed to reflect the channel’s energetic brand while remaining visually cohesive and engaging.

Design Solution: My solution embraced a mischievous and playful style, incorporating vibrant colors to enhance the upbeat nature of the accompanying music. The animation’s dynamic visuals were tailored to convey both energy and excitement, aligning with the channel’s identity.

Design Process: The project involved both 2D and 3D animation. I began by planning which scenes required 2D or 3D elements, followed by modeling and rendering the 3D components. I carefully balanced formal, clear fonts for the music lyrics with more playful fonts in the animation to ensure readability and maintain the lively tone.
